Do I have a chance right now?

Hey everyone.

I'm a 16 year old (almost 17) homeschooled student (which means I am available any time, for long periods of time) who CANNOT drive. I'm also nearly done with school.

Do I have a chance that someone would let me be a PA?

I mean, I figured the first time I would do it, I would offer to do it for free.
Then the next time, I can get paid.

What are my chances?

There are plenty of shoots you can get on. Check with your local film commission or craigslist, etc.

well if your services are free then 90 % chances are that you will be taken but i personally think staright away from second time you cant get paid.....just my thought(it can be wrong) youth exploitattion is a universal curse for we youngsters...

It might take more than one time. Most people work for free on
many movies before they get paid. I imagine you have two obstacles
they will make it more difficult.

If you don't live in an area where a lot of movies are being made
there are fewer job available.

Since you cannot drive that makes you slightly less competitive
in the job market. Most PA's need to do a lot of driving.

Maybe you could work as an office PA rather than a set PA.
