Dead in the Water Final Cover

As I've mentioned previously my first feature film, DEAD IN THE WATER, was acquired for N. American distribution by Indican Pictures. Even though the release date has been pushed back to Sept. 25 from Aug. 7 (they wanted a release date closer to Halloween) I wanted to share with your the cover art for the DVD. I have to say it looks frickin' awesome.

The first thing that caught my eye was the font used on the word "DEAD"... It's very similar to the font used for Evil Dead (Evil Dead 2 being one the of greatest films of all freakin' time).

Eerily sexy.

One of the comps they sent me was a spitting image of the Evil Dead cover. I'm glad they went with this one though because it's more unique.
