Thanks for watching! I really appreciate the feedback to, it was really good of you to do that man.The setting is great. Loved the dripping water, too. Some nice shots - looking up the shaft, receding shadows, and the soft focus wing in the foreground. I liked the vests and hard hats, especially the hat falling on the ground.
I have mixed feelings about the bird. I would have rather you didn't use something as common as that. A little more mystery could have taken that further. The character interaction was weak. We don't get much of a feel for them. It might have been better to have the girl being hesitant about going into a dark place, and the guy really needing to convince her to go in. Their voices could have been more clear, but not too bad.
This has a lot of potential to be expanded into something bigger. Good job.
Thanks for watching and the feedback man, really appreciate it.I like the camera movement. Smooth and professional. Editing was good too. You managed to create some tension with the soundtrack. Yeah, I liked it. I agree that the bird was probably a little less frightening than what I was imagining. That's the thing about letting people use their imagination before revealing the monster. I was imagining a CHUD or maybe an old witch or even a good 'ol fashion monster, but a bird? Nah, they aren't scary. Also, I feel the colors outside of the cave are too saturated. Run a test. Desaturate the colors and see if you agree. I like your film. Keep up the good work!
