Creepy similarities

In my movie that I'm currently working on "The Tramp" my main antagonist is a successful wealthy Madame , Anna, who sells women into prostitution to wealthy clients. She has ties to FBI, police and city officials.

5 minutes ago, I was reading CNN website and run into an article about a NY Madame who is arrested for promoting and soliciting high end class brothel for wealthy clients! She has connections to FBi, DI, city government employees etc... And the creepiest part??? HER NAME IS ANNA!!!

I was blown away by this!! Good thing I registered my screenplay with WGA some weeks ago so now I won't be accused by her or her family of stealing their life story haha

Does anybody else have similar experiences, where you wrote something and found out that re character or event actually exist in a real world?

I feel for you and it is even harder these days not to come across your own story. Whenever it happens to me, I do not care about it if my angle is unique/different on the same story.

thats creepy.. so is this.. (I was watching "Son OF Flubber" with my son last weekend)

Is Philip Bloom the lost lovechild of Paul Lynde? Who can deny it!

Family might still do something as that story is old. But I'm sure yours is something totally different and just has some eerie similarities

Hardly the first high-dollar madam to be arrested. Are you worried that Heidi Fleiss might come after you with a lawsuit too?

The "Anna" thing is a remarkable coincidence, but I bet the similarities stop there or there-a-bouts. I wouldn't sweat it.
