Cost to direct.

I don't think there's a ballpark big enough for that!

From points only to a couple million cash up front and everywhere in between. The former if the director is trying to get the film made or the latter if the producer is running the show and trying to land a name director.
 
The DAG has its minimums - that might be the ballpark.

For everything else there is no "normal" or "ballpark". In the low
budget world directors are paid nothing to maybe $3,000 to $5,000
per week. And every conceivable number in-between. And sometimes
more. And sometimes even less.
