Cost of A "Sopranos" Episode?

Hey,

I was talking to a friend the other day and I mentioned that James would get a good $1,000,000 per episode (one million) along side all the co-actors like Tony Sirico, Steve Van Zandt, Edie Falco & Michael Imperioli who would get a good $100,000 per episode.

My question is... If only paying off the actors would come to around $2,000,000, then how much would it cost to create, write, produce, film, and finish an entire episode (around 50 minutes) of The Soprano's?

My wild guess would be around $5,000,000. What do you guys think?
 
Seems about right.

Deadwood cost $5million per episode, The Wire was $1.5 million per episode. I'd say it's going to be closer to Deadwood costs myself (given salaries) and maybe even higher.
 
By the end of it's run, the show was costing about $6.5 million per episode according to Variety.
