Hello everyone

My Name is Rich Volpe owner of Rich Day Productions. I am a self taught filmmaker from Florida, i fund myself and just barley do that. Well i dont have any friends in the film industry, so i came here to find like minded people.
I've been having a few problems lately and was seeking advice, i have alot of natural talent for film, but NO EDUCATION. I have learned alot from books and the internet but some problems can't be solved that way. I have been working on a documentary for 4years now.Based on the tarpon fishing in the SW Florida area, this film covers the history, present day, controvercy and conservation of the sport. There's a forum member (whose name I am spacing on atm), who started off making fishing videos a few years back from ground up. I think he went onto hunting videos in general.

Dont think i will steer into hunting films. Comedy is my true calling, the documentaries are a stepping stone. What a stepping stone it is too. What do you do out there in Hollywood
