editing Color key test

Just made this short video while experimenting with adobe after effects. It was originally supposed to be 17 seconds long but my computer would freeze during rendering so i shortend it to 4. I feel like im doing something wrong. the video doesn't have very good quality and this was shot in 720p. Is there something else your supposed to do after sending to render queue and rendering? Here is my comp settings. Also it renders without sound. What am i doing wrong?

Probably the codec combo with the avi. Try a mov with the animation codec to ensure that's what it is. I'm not recognizing the rez size you have. Did you mean 1080X720? This is not what's crashing it. Just curious.
Also, be aware that AE's color hey is not great. It's good for reducing processing time when using a keyer plugin like keylight though.

well, as mentioned, Keylight is a great plugin.
as far as rendering a quicktime, you simply select that instead of an avi and pick the codec you wanna use. The animation codec is generic so if it goes without crashing, you know it was the codec you chose when rendering your avi file.
