cliche movie posters

I was looking over some articles on filmmakeriq.com and bumped into an article about french artist who puts collages of movie posters:

This is great.

What's really interesting are the ideas that the images evoke. Look at the genre's, they're so similar. You see a close-up of an eye, you're looking at a horror; you see a close up of a girls bottom, you think comedy.

Next McKnightly Halloween short I'm going to feature a woman's bottom as the source of horror.
Casting should be... difficult to endure.
 
There are only so many ways to lay out a poster, and when you have to churn out a dozen or so posters week, there are going to be some similarities among the odd 2000 or so movies released each year (World wide).
