I think it would have been more effective without the set up at the beginning. Once we see that, we know what is going to happen.
Maybe having a "criteria met" screen at the end would save some of the suspense.

Just a side note: Adding some clumps
of hair to the shake would add to the freaky factor. Eye balls are "scary" but blood crusted pieces of scalp is grizzly. IMO

I enjoyed the movie. Seems like the phone helped with the effects.
