archived-videos Check out my latest music video!

Hey IT,

If you've got a minute you should check out my latest music video, subscribe if you like it, plenty of videos planned for this year!

Link to the video.

It was all shot on a Canon 550D against a flat black curtain, using photography lights and bounce boards.

There's bits of somewhat advanced VFX in there, see if you can spot it!

Looks good dude!

But I found myself skipping through the video a lot hoping that what wouldn't happen is an increase in the array image distortions. And honestly, over a period of 5+ minutes it starts to feel gimmicky. Not that it doesn't look cool but it just feels void of character after a while.
Maybe it's that since I'm coming from a grindcore/heavy music background that I feel like I've seen all the stark lighting and the image distortion and even a lot of the angles before. Metal videos, hell metal in general, seem to typically confuse the arbitrary for the abstract.

Again though, really technically sound and it's bound to more than please the intended demographic. You'll definitely find a career in music videos.

I like the video, cool lighting and shooting. Editing goes well with the subject matter.
Am not into this kind of 'voice' performance, but hey, am sure there are many fans for this genre.
Discounting the genre, it's a cool video Dude!

I really dig the band!

First 2 mins of the vid were awesome. Then... more of the same. Would have loved a switchup of some kind.

Very effective, btw, using just the backdrop & basic light.
