Canon T2i and 1/48 shutter speed

Is it ok to shoot 1080 24p at 1/50 shutter speed since Canon T2i does not provide 1/48 shutter speed at all?

Yep, that's the answer. Any other frame rate/shutter speed combination will look "different". For a specific scene for a specific reason it can be used for effect. For an entire movie it will just create a "what the hell is wrong with this movie, it looks weird" feeling in the audience.
