Canon FD stepped aperture mod?

Hi folks,

I havent recently picked up a nice canon FD 50mm f1.4 lens for my gh2.

The only issue I have is the aperture ring is stepped and so useless for stepping up or down during a shot.

Is there any way of modding the lens to be stepless?Or perhaps an adapter that features a stepless ring?

Cheers folks.

So far, Iv never had the need to change aperture in the middle of a shot. That said, the service your looking for is "fd lens aperture declicking" if you google that you'll find many providers and DIY tutorials..

A more useful approach for me might be to use a variable ND filter, which I do, though again, never during a take.. though I can think of a recent shot that would have benefited from it..

found this..
