Canon 5D Mark ii

I was just curious if anyone has tried this? I've been debating on buying one and was looking for some opinions. Thanks

Plenty of ppl have and theyll respond. I myself am planning on buying a 7D. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. There's no correct one to buy. But both should be considered for video and you can decide by researching test footage and reading abt them. Then buy the one that fits the kind of projects you r probably going to be doing.

Watch your pans and handheld work. The Rolling Shutter and CMOS chip make walls kind of rubbery, but other than that, the camera makes incredible video images.

I use the Canon T2I. Im very impressed with the images it produces. Its less expensive than the 5d and 7d.

Any good solid info on the rolling shutter problem of, say, the Canon 7D compared to the 5D mkii? I also do still photography and would really like a full 35mm sensor, but I've heard murmurings about the 7D image being a bit more stable.

Does anyone have firsthand experience with this? All I've found through google is a bunch of "a friend of a friend said" and a few example videos that don't exhibit the rolling shutter issue at all, making impossible for me to judge for myself.
