Canon 28mm love

Im falling in love with this lens. (Already in love with the subject!)

I'm working on learning the focus of this lens. Having infinity focus about 8 feet away is very handy, but takes some getting used to! I kept focusing when I didn't need to!

The close up focus gaffs are my being blinded by the sun.. couldn't see the screen DOH!

light -> Canon 28mm f2.3 -> Letus Extreme -> Canon HFS100

Thanks

That car of hers is a classic! Not to mention the top selling American-made car:

OT: That looks awesome. I wouldn't worry about the focus gaffes, they were small and it's just practice. Besides, I don't think most people even notice the really small ones (present company excluded, lol).

It seems to me that if the DSLR folks got to love their 28mms as much as their 50mms, they would have VERY professional looking stuff.

Falling in love with a lens is quite dangerous. I try not to do it bc i fear i will end up using it more often than i should instead of using the right lens for the right look i should show to convey the moment in the story. Just take Michael Bay for instance. Although he makes every entertaining movies, i think we can all agree his love for wide angle as gone a little too far lol.

Personally, i love the look of Nikon 35mm 1.4 ais. it has a beautiful bokeh.

And yeah Dready, i think the reason for 50mm love is just because its cheap to get a fast prime like that. not to say it doesnt have its uses, it has plenty. but ppl need to diversify a bit.
