Okay....
A while back I read a lot about 7D camera and even asked some IT people about what the big deal was. I got some helpful answers but I still was/am very skeptical.
However....
I did get a chance to actually look at the pictures that it shot. It looks about as close to film as I've seen any video camera look....that is if you have a $1500 Canon lens on it....and really good lighting. So, technically, I guess I still have not seen what the 7D camera actually looks like without all the extras. And by the way, I seem to remember Will Vincent doing the same thing with a Canon handicam a few years back, though admittedly the 7D does look better.
So, here is my question: are there any video cameras that shoot video that looks this good? What price range is it in?
After seeing the 7D with the lens, I am impressed, but still wary of buying a still photography camera to actually shoot a film with, but considering the cost and result, maybe I should consider it if I can't find a comparable video camera that makes sense monetarily.
Or maybe just get the lens and figure everything else out later
Seriously, I could use some video cam recommendations. And some comments....
