Building a Facebook Fan Page

Hey all, another thread inspired me a bit.. Im trying to make an interesting facebook fan page, within the limitations of facebook.

I took Phychosis Media to comments to heart, building a brand for the production company as well as the short film. This might be a bit over kill for a short and I dont have a product to sell, but I am trying to build some buzz.

Does having a presense impact the chance of yoru film being accepted for festivals?

Please check ou the facebook page, Im curious to know if others are having good\poor performance, which page your land on (it shodl be the "watch the teaser" page) and anyother ideas you have...

also, if someone could SEARCH inside facebook for the Power Up Fan Page and tell me where that leads them that'd be great..

Iv learned a bit about FB customiztions and woudl be glad to help others get at least this far..

Just passing this on..

Iv been over about a dozen ways to do this.. the easiest and simplest is to search in facebook for

Static HTML: iframe tabs

add that to and use that app on your fan page (doesn't work on your profile page)



Ill edit this later with more details, but its really not that complicated..

A few ideas. I would select some more interesting photos to show up as your top 5, right now you have mostly close ups of the logo. The better the thumbnail, the more likely users will click on them.

Add a call to action on your landing tab that invites users to see Fan Only content. Then when they click this, they are taken to the fan only tab and prompted to Like the page.

Right, forgot about how the auto top 5 worked. I tagged some other photos, should be better now.. Il lhave to stay on top of that..

Call to action on the "watch the trailer" page, which is where non fans land.
