Brain Storming Ideas for a Brad Pitt and Edward Norton film

I am a big fan of Fight Club and thought the pairing of Brad Pitt with Edward Norton was a great thing. Anyways it is obvious by now that Fight Club 2 probably will never happen. How about instead come up with a new movie with the two actors.

I am thinking a buddy cop/detective movie could be cool. Maybe something like Miami Vice or leathal weapon. I am sure there are others it could be similar too. Anyways, that is my thoughts for a new movie so far. Maybe brad could be the seasoned cop and edward norton the less experienced guy that he has to look out for. Of course Norton would totally think he does not need brads advice and stuff like that. Just an idea. This would be an action comedy film more than likely with some mystery in detective work. Of course probably a stake out in the film. And of course the Lady interests for the characters would need to be part of the story. Maybe we could get Shane Black to write the treatment and then we would have a pitch. Maybe we could keep some of the chemistry the two characters had in fight club going by using some of their character traits in this movie. Maybe have a fist fight between brad and edward in the film somewhere as a homage.

how about a campy comedy with a Will Ferrel cameo as a...... forklift operator?

Brad Pitt and Edward Norton play 40 year old man children who live at home with their parents, and when their parents meet and get married, hilarity insues.

how about this? Edward Norton plays a giant shark who attacks surfers and fishermen in a coastal tourist beachtown. Brad Pitt plays the sheriff who hunts him down and eventually kills him by shooting an oxygen tank in edward nortons mouth as his boat is sinking.

I think they would bring some interesting stuff to the characters. I don't know if it would be as good as Newman and Redford, but interesting none the less.

Oh, this movie is so good, there's no need at all for redoing. Also I don't think Brad and Edward are in the same league as Paul and Robert.

Foucault's Pendulum with Norton as Casaubon and Pitt as Agliè! The book is sort of like Clerks if they were talking about conspiracy theories and philosophy instead of Star Wars and comic books!

Yeah a western could be a cool idea for a film.

I still like the detectives / undercover cop idea. Or how about Mr and Mrs Smith 2 where Edward Norton plays the bad guy. That could be cool.

Actually, I could see them playing a slacker duo. But if it's going to be a $120mil, I expect to see some major Bayhem. Norton is a line-cook at an upscale restaurant, Pitt is a shift manager at a book store, both of them are major stoners, and they are roommates. And through crazy circumstances, they end up being the last defenders of the world, in The Apocalypse. Fire and Brimstone.
