Best Way To Export in Adobe Premiere CS5?

I want to know what is the best settings to choose for exporting a music video for youtube and or a dvd. Is there anyway I can get it down to the smallest size for a fast youtube upload without loosing quality? I want it to still be in HD,

Unless you're burning it on BluRay, your DVD is SD. To keep file-sizes down, I've exported to 480p (because that's what it's gonna be on the DVD), but when I did that, I ended up with letterboxes on ALL 4 sides. So, now I export to h.264, 720p, and then I let my DVD-burning software lower the resolution.

For youtube and vimeo, I personally prefer h.264, 720p. In my opinion, I don't really see the need for full HD for something that's going on the internet. Of course you could do h.264 at 1080p, as well.

there's a useful pulldown list when you go to export from the timeline

I typically use the Apple TV 720p but other settings are good, too.

the blue highlight isn't there for a reason, just happened to be where the mouse ended up.

Ill say it again.. I export my finished projects in the highest quality, say QuickTime animation for super critical stuff, or photo jpeg 100% quality for my internet stuff.

I let the DVD authoring tool, convert for DVD, I use handbrake to create .h264 files.
Its a master, child thing..
