Best Film Fests for me

I am a teen film maker and I have recently finished my newest film. It is a 30 min thriller and I was wondering what the best festivals for it would be. I would like to send it to at least one film fest a month for a few months. Any ideas? Thanks

It probably depends on what you want to accomplish at the festivals.. if your main interest is just getting it seen, I'd say send it out to as many as you can.

Here's a site that has quite a large database of festivals. I doubt that it's 100% complete, and some may not be around, but it should give you a good start point anyway.

Other than that, you probably just want to read about all of them that interest you, and try to get a feel from the info available whether it's a good fit or not.. then follow those submission guidelines to a T.

There's that one book that everyone swears by (and which name I have inexplicably forgotten) by Chris Gore. It's just been updated for its 3rd edition, too.

Work, brain! Work! what was book title? :hmm:
