Back-lit Face Correction

I just returned from a week-long vacation in Tennessee.

I shot a short film while down there, and have ran into a little problem, a minor backlighting issue on one character's face.

What's the best way to correct this? I have AE and Premiere Pro
 
back light as it "background light," "silhouette," or "rim light?" I'll reiterate ZS's request though, we can't answer image questions without seeing the image.
