Average Lawyer Fees?

We're looking to work with a lawyer to draft up contracts and help us form an LLC, but we're not sure how much to tell our investors this will cost.

In your experience, how much did you have to pay a lawyer hourly, and for certain things like drafting up contracts.

I found a cheap one actually. $150/hour with a $500 retainer. The $500 pre-pays the first three hours or so of work. This was a friend of a friend, that's a very cheap rate for a decent lawyer.

A good lawyer will charge $1,000.00 to do an LLC, which will include all the documents. If, however, you want a shareholders' agreement, that could be an extra $1,500.00.

You can go cheap, but buyer beware.
