Any tips for showreel?

Hey

I'm going for a college interview (to do a film production course) in a month or so and I havn't got a showreel ready yet. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips, any showreels that I should watch or even any interview tips for me?

What kind of show reel. What are your expertise or things you have done. Directing? Cinematography? Acting?

Do they request one? Seems strange for a college acceptance. Do you have a 3 minute short film?

Your payment is all they require.
For a demo though, put some of your best work ona nice reel under 3 minutes. Put a great lable on it if putting it on a DVD, otherwise it won't be watched.
