Oh yeah - the batteries don't last very long at all, but if you've ever with some of the real average SWIT V-Locks you'll be more than equipped to deal with it
In regards to grading - the friend of mine that sold his BMCC for the BMPC uses DaVinci with FilmConvert plug-in.
Personally, I don't find there's much of a difference between the results I can get in DaVinci vs FilmConvert Standalone (apart from the grain).
Having it as a plug-in for DaVinci is, I guess, the best of both worlds.
