ANOTHER Music Composer!!... oh no!!!:-)

Hi,

trying not to make this sound like the 1000ed "Composer offering Music" topic, but well yes bottom line is thats what it is.... :D. I make no secret I am fairly new to the filmscoring world in terms of trying to get my own foot into the door. However I am a professional guitarist for 15 years now with having quite some success with various pop-rock acts so I cut my teeth so to say in the music biz. So you are dealing with a guy who will assure you a professional working attitude and beeing a team player!

I am not necessarily looking for paid jobs only, rather then chances to build up a resume! So anything from student films to indy projects to whatever else I can not imagine right now is welcome. Of course if you have a budget be "fair and share" :)... we can allways discuss that issue though and like I said a good looking reference is also worth something to me!

Here are some of my first demo cues that I created and backed them up with some motion background videos to have some sort of image on top:

Showdown:

I can offer from heavy rock guitar driven scores to more orchestral.

Would be great to hear from somebody on this board. Shoot me a msg here and we share contact infos or follow my website to facebook, youtube or myspace to get in touch with me.

Thanks!!

Hi, Ricky! Some really good stuff, especially the most recent. I can hear a huge difference between Galactus and Showdown. The latter is much more polished. Great choir and orchestral sounds. It reminded me a little of Cirque Du Soleil's (Mystere, O, Ka) backing tracks, which I like. Your guitar chops are excellent; so nice that you can put real riff's into sequenced pieces.

Welcome to Indietalk and good luck with your music!

Ahhh nice one buddy, thanks!!:hi: I was out of the computer development for a couple of years since for strict audio recording I was doing fine with an old machine. Mixing of bands and stuff I would have done at some other guys place. So I started on my old machine and then switched to a newer one and was BLOWN AWAY what is possible in MIDI these days and got me some new librarys. So yes, I hope there is a progress since I am getting more behind how this all works also in terms of getting a decent mix at the end. Also just recently re-build my studio.

Excellent, glad you like and hope you share my name around here if an oppertunity pops up... I am trying to find posts of folks looking around for composers unfortunatly thats like allways the minority...:(
