I spent ten days on various bases shooting footage of families.
I got a great feel of what families go through while their loved
ones are away. I think it's a great idea for a documentary.

Honestly, I think the idea is overdone. I've seen this theme in commercials, fundraisers, network television shows, documentaries, ect. I'd say it's similar to the "homeless man" documentary idea, it's been done before. Now here's something I'd like to see, I'd like to see a documentary that explores veterans that have deserted the Army or Marines. I want to see something that is less then honorable, something with some "real" conflict, something that is unpopular and thought provoking.
