This is an interesting interview of Gavin O'Connor's unconventional process in what he calls "method filmmaking." If you can't watch the whole thing, 47:25 to the end is the best piece of philosophy I've heard with regards to making art.

Need to watch the whole thing later. Pretty interesting. Totally agree with the "You make the movie before you make the movie" line, as well.
