An interesting couple links

io9 had a Law Professor answer questions about Fan Fiction and Mash-ups. Not exactly the type of stuff we see a lot of here, but there's a lot of information that is generally applicable also.

A lot to go through, but initially at least, looked like some good examples, information and advice, from an actual lawyer!

There's some interesting things happening, in that whole world. Amazon's access to certain licenses, allowing fan-fic authors to monetise their material, is when it really started rolling openly. It's just matter of time before a/v media will become part of that new deal.
