editing Adobe Premier now crashing.

So I used Sony Ex 3 to shoot a film and I have Premier CS5.

Everything was fine but now roughly two minutes into a trailer, adobe is creasing and I can't finish editing and it won't export in any format.

I have 8 gigs of Ram and a good video card. Any ideas why it's glitching? Is it the HD?

You're not really giving us a lot of info on how or when it crashes.

So except for Mile's idea, here are a few other, random, things you may try:

1. If you have any external plug-ins, try uninstalling them and see if it works.
2. If you have a custom folder in the EFFECTS tab, or a lot of open folders there, close them down and delete the custom folder.
3. Go to EDIT > PREFERENCES > MEDIA and clean your cache.

You can use the PROJECT ARCHIVE folder to open the last known copy of the project.

As was stated, start a new project, then IMPORT the PRPROJ file into the new one, and select the sequence you want. If it doesn't work, check the files from the sequence and make sure they are still valid.

do not be offend by this next suggestion.

If your using any kinda of plugins or even the ppro software you "got off the internet for free" via a torrent or something similar, chances are thats the problem.
