Hi,
I'm pretty new to all this, but I fancy trying my hand at some amateur film making. In terms of projects, I'd like to create a short stop-motion film and a documentary. After surfing the web for more hours than I like to count I've made little progress in choosing a camera to start with.
As it stands I'm thinking of getting a Sony Bloggie (MHS), as it's cheap, small and seems fairly efficient at its job. That prices in at £140. My budget is anywhere up to £450 really, but that'd be pushing the boat out somewhat. For an absolute beginner what would be the best way to use my money? I've also been looking at the Canon 500D and Nikon D5000, but they'd be the absolute top end of my budget.
Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer me,
Jack.
