3rd Shift: new teaser

Hey everyone. A film I had a featured role in has released a new teaser--which to me is much tighter than the original one. And the longer version (second one below) has this annoying song through the entire piece...me no likey...but whatever.

I'm really excited to see this thing completed. I'm very pleased with the visual style and artistry. You'll see me in both trailers as the dude that gets the car window smashed in on him (and then dragged out in the longer version).

Oh I wish I could spread the gossip about the cast and crew...but I'm a professional, and I wouldn't dare do that. :) Ha!

Here is the shorter, tighter version:

This was shot on the HVX200a. Pretty amazing eh? Leo (the DP) is also a fantastic color grader/corrector.

Thanks guys and gals.

That's a great shot, the window break. :)

Trailers didn't really explain much, but it does look well shot indeed.

Thanks. Ya I love that shot. And we did that twice. For the longest time we couldn't get the glass to break. We padded his elbow and he smashed it hard as hell...but nope. Then, we put a simple screw in the elbow pad and CLACK first hit it gave. Two full size windows in my face. Loved it.

Looks great for an HVX :)

Ya it does. I'm always so impressed with HVX footage in skilled hands...obviously the lighting designer was skilled in this case, as well as the DP's color correction...but still...it creates a very quality image.
