Here's a short test I did with a homemade beamsplitter rig. It's encoded in anaglypyh so you'll need red/blue glasses to see the effect.

Interesting. How did you make the DIY splitter?

Some weird extra-transparancies going on. Is that fixable?

Wonderful! Flowers on turntables are awesome in 3D. Which is weird because I generally dislike 3D movie stuff... perhaps it's because this was more of a "Motion Picture" and I like 3D Pictures.
