why this forum only talks only on documentary film making

The people here talk about MUCH more than documentary filmmaking.
In fact, very few people here are making documentaries. Most of us are
making shorts and narrative features.

are there documentary questions around? i must i haven't seen them really.. but then i don't frequent that one sub forum where they are...

of the last few scripts and video's i have seen posted, nothing has been anything but fictional movies...

yeah, I speak mainly of what's on the front page, that's all I look at. Rarely see a documentary post.

That's different than documentaries. But, that too is untrue, we talk about mainstream cinema quite a bit. It's just that the majority of these conversations here are about how we make our own movies.

You're right. Since this is indietalk most of the talk is about independent
films. But if you look around a bit you'll see some posts about studio and
mainstream films. If you want to talk about mainstream films you should
start a thread. People will join in.
