V48hours is a film competition in New Zealand, where filmmakers are given a genre and 4 elements and then attempt to write, shoot, edit and hand in a short film within 48hours.

Nope unfortunately not. They were:

Winner, Best female director
Winner, Best female team
Winner, Best dolly zoom
Nominated, Best actress

Yeah it's an odd one but yes it was a category as it was on the required elements that had to be in the film. Each element had a category winner.

Likewise on the cinematography aspect, nice work. I'm not the biggest fan of a 'Dolly-zoom', but i guess as it was a category you had to somehow incorporate the shot, and you did, it worked well within the context.

I thought that looks darn good, sounded darn good, was acted darn well, and was a successful short film. Nice 48hr entry. Congrats on taking home some awards.
