The band is called "EL SONIDO CALLEJERO". The group is loaded with Latin rhythms, and rock influences blood flow, cumbias, northern and reggae, among other genres of music. Great band.

We shot both of these in one day in LA. Long day, great fun!

I really enjoyed these music videos. They were both made every well.

Old-film effect a bit heavy in the first.

Both videos very similar in style, with split-screens and jump-cuts holding the fort.

You shot both of these in a single day?

Yeah, last November in LA. From about 8am to 6pm. I was visiting LA and the band asked me and my brother to produce a video for them (Oye Mami). I was only there for a week so we listened to the song and shot it that weekend. The first video went so great that we decided to do the second one right after.

The old film effect was requested by the band. We initially had it there, just more toned down. They saw the first draft and they wanted more.

The first one took more time and was the one we were contracted to do. The second one we did for fun 'cause we had time and natural light.
