Someone just remastered and colorized this, it's an interesting study in the infancy of cinematic horror, and visual effects.

Pretty cool. I love how one of the first things people discovered, with a movie camera, was the ability to do magic, to make things disappear, etc. And the stop action, the knife cutting the salami, lol, is actually pretty good!
And I liked the scarrey dude ( chick?) a lot. Surprised I had never seen it before.
I remember one of the things that really scared me as a little kid--an image that stuck with me--was this guy, Lon Chaney, from the 1920 Phantom of the Opera.
