    It's been real.

It's probably inevitable that everything eventually peaks and begins to slide. I've been an off-and-on IT contributor for some time now, and have definitely perceived a change in the forum. Seems like several of the members who were so active when I signed on are rarely heard from these days...

    Your wackiest PA assignments

Sonnyboo's post about Production Assistants gave me the idea for this thread. I imagine a few of us here have worked as PAs on at least one shoot. Would love to hear anecdotes about your most memorable experiences. I'll start... On my first PA job, I was asked by the director to make coffee...

    Helicopter at my house!

Don't know if anyone else will be impressed by this, but I sure was... Earlier today I heard the sound of a helicopter flying really low. Suddenly, my whole house started to shake. I ran to the window in time to see a Coast Guard MH-60 "Jayhawk" touch down in the baseball field directly...

    Dark Knight Returns outtakes (NOT!)

I posted this yesterday, but it seems all of yesterday's posts were removed so here it is again. Too friggin' hilarious to miss! The actor playing Morgan Freeman doesn't quite have the voice, and Christian Bale doesn't have the right accent, but still priceless...

    What genre is this?

Hey all, hope you don't mind if I use all y'all as guinea pigs again... I have a new screenplay that my manager will be unleashing on H'wood in the next few weeks, and we're trying to come up with a title for it. The working title has been The Catch, but my manager feels that title may...

    That didn't take long

Just did a search and found that someone has posted my film CRIMPS online for free download already. One site has more than 10,000 downloads. Thanks a lot to whatever POS cyberspace scumbag is responsible. I spent many years and much money to make this and they rip me off before I even have a...

Crimps has been selected to screen at the Eugene (Oregon) International Film Festival this coming weekend, if anyone is in the vicinity. Frustratingly enough, they haven't yet published a schedule, so I have no idea what day or time. Will post more when I know. (Link for list of films.)

    which Crimps poster is better?

Okay, any latecomers to this thread, I've eliminated the links to my poster designs as they are now moot thanks to the talents of Mr. Paul Griffith (see below). Sorry, but you haven't missed anything, really. :)

What I learned from The Human Centipede (spoilers)

After hearing that this film did well at Screamfest I rented it this weekend. It was an eye-opener! I've prepared this short quiz on proper behavior for horror movie characters, as exemplified by The Human Centipede: 1. You are a pair of young women driving to a party. Your rental car has...
