watch Yearning for the Strings - Asian Inspired Short

Hello fellow Filmmakers I hope everyone is having a great time. One of my dreams when I started making short films was to be able to create an Asian-inspired short. My passion for Asian films started at a young age when my father use to bring VHS movies home from the flea market. Throughout the...

watch Stop Motion Short Film: Exit

Thanks for taking a look at my short! I agree it doesn't look like a typical stop motion film. That's because I sped it up in post so that it will be less than a minute. My professor didn't want it over a minute lol.

watch Stop Motion Short Film: Exit

Hello Everyone! Thank you for allowing me to post my work. This was a very short film that we had to shoot during class hours (2hrs) on campus. The assignment was to only use still images to tell a story. This is normally not my type of style so any constructive criticism is appreciated...

The bathroom scene was actually: Kool-Aid Drink Mix Powder Cherry Flavor 19 oz. $5 On the bathroom walls and on Taylor we used fake blood that you can buy from Party City. http://www.partycity.com/product/gallon+of+blood.do I actually bought the smaller version for about $7.

watch Short Film - Taylor: The GroomKiller

Thanks! To be honest, I initially wanted it to be continuous, but I couldn't figure out how to transition from the dancing to the last shot. Therefore, I decided to edit it this way. Thank God, because I think this way is much better and interesting.

watch Releasing new sci-fi short this february - let us know what you think!

I will recommend reducing the saturation. I understand you're going for a "dreamy" feel, but it's a bit too much. Interesting concept though.

The ending of this video is fine. Sound will certainly make it more engaging.

watch Seishin - first scene rough cut #1

I don't think sound will help. I was expecting the protagonist to appear but he doesn't. 0:18 feels like an establishing shot, something you would put in the start of the film, not in the middle of a chase scene. It takes me out of it for a second. However, I don't think that shot would work...

    watch "The Hot Rod" Trailer\Preview

I'm interested, but it's hard to figure out the plot from the trailer. However, the shots from the trailer looks great.

watch Seishin - first scene rough cut #1

Hey, I like the idea. However, a couple of nitpicks. The title logo is a bit hard to read. I would make it a bit clearer. Maybe separate the letters slightly away from each other. When I first saw it, I felt it was too quick, but after seeing it again I think it would be fine if you removed...

watch Short Film - Taylor: The GroomKiller

Hello Everyone! I'm new to the forums and I want to thank the creators for making an area where storytellers can share their imagination. This was my final assignment for my Motion Picture 1 course. The requirements was to develop a piece that had at least 1 night and day shot for both...
