Should I get insurance for a somewhat dangerous location?

I'm scripting out my first feature, and I'm consideirng location limitations as I'm writing. I have access to a pretty decent size wilderness area in south Florida. Large rolling oyster hills, a few dead tree expanses, some really cool landscapes, basically. My concearn is that I grew up...

movies What's the last film you watched? And rate it!

Sinister ** out of **** This movie was just simply stupid, however the 8mm squences were really really really twisted. Drive **** out of **** I really can't say enough about this film. Just got around to re-watching it and it's still such a treat. Beautifully crafted. Oblivion **1/2 out of...

Good structure / skeleton for traditional linear script?

I'm working on my first indie feature. I have 4-5 'ok' ideas, widdling them down to 1 to begin really hashing out a full spec script. editing Best green screen content ?

That's an excellent point about the professional ceiling of Blender, very good. I think a friend of mine over in LA may have a spare product key I could use for Maya (or I'll just buy my own, probably a good investment). I'm going to look at those DVDs too, that may be a good entry point for me.

editing Making a picture bring motion feel?

I think the color temps aren't matching in this shot, which is showing some separation between the subject and the background. Compare the light on his right shoulder to the lamp. (this is just something I noticed)

editing Best green screen content ?

Thanks Sweetie, Yes, I'm anticipating the lighting to be a challenge. Thankfully I'm already a stickler for lighting to match my composites (I do composite photography, mainly). I'd like to use the key'd elements in tandem with real sets. For instance, I have an interior restaurant dialogue...

editing Best green screen content ?

Hello there, So I have been a digital artist for years now (2D), and I've always gravitated towards cinematic story-telling tones in my imagery, I'm also a classical pianist so I deeply enjoy music (especially film scores). Soo, after I was nearly killed in a car crash a few weeks ago, I've...
