What to buy with my Rebel T2i

I've got some 16-10's that work very well too.. SanDisk 4's won't cut it, and I have off brand 6's that are just as bad..this I know first hand. If your gonna spend on 6's 10's are right around the corner :D

What to buy with my Rebel T2i

Get the eye loop thing, a decent tripod and fast SanDisk memory.. Get a cheap grip, don't worry about a crazy shoulder rig or stedicam. Use your tripod in place of a stedicam. I shot some low light, and the kit lens is probably going to work if you can have some kind of lighting. Also get an...

    AE clip compression settings?

I've kinda spotted a problem in my workflow once I learned most folks don't compress in AE. I used to take full clips from my card and start color correcting.. which of course took forever.. Now, I rough edit down to what I think I will use with Vegas and I correct/grade those much smaller clips.

    AE clip compression settings?

Basically, I've got a couple dozen clips I am color correcting. They are all ending up at 26gb or so. I was hoping I could render them using some minimal compression so they don't end up being too heavy on my HD. .. I read more, but I am finding people don't use AE to compress, so I think I...

    AE clip compression settings?

Hi guys, I'm rendering my clips in Lossless AVI at the moment.. and it's eating up my space at an alarming rate. I need a pro's opinion of what good settings are for clips. I have spent hours testing, and my results are marginal. All the best, R

    lighting inexpensive lighting kit

.. oh I forgot, I also use an umbrella kit from cowboy studio.. pretty cheap, and I put in big fluorescent bulbs. It works well, but is a tad bulky and flimsy when set up.

    lighting inexpensive lighting kit

I am exactly in the spot that Paul describes above.. I've got a couple hundred into lights that can kinda do the job, haha. The best cheap 'light' I have come across, is that double shop light above, but bounced off a 14$ 40" reflector from amazon.. I have gotten fairly amazing results (to...

Ultra portable battery powered studio Lights?

Good idea! Must have's: 2 hour charge, fit three of them in carry on luggage with other stuff, 10 foot minimum throw, diffusion when needed. I plan on all sorts of guerrilla mounting techniques, tape, wire etc.. I figure one in back, one on each side. Like to have: ability for warm light...

    editing Color correction theory?

I'm a painter, and have worked in post effects for years, but I amazed that I never really realized how much color correcting thought went into film.. I am currently correcting to my taste.. Basically, free eyeing to a warm or cool lumanistic feel, depending on how the scene lends itself...

    Can laser hurt DSLR sensors?

Google is my friend... It can definitely ruin a CMOS sensor, wow. Always look before you leap!.. whew, I would have been so sad if I mess it up.

Ultra portable battery powered studio Lights?

I was looking at those hotshoe LED panels. Some seem pretty decent.. I'd love to find one that throws far, and wide, and stays charged for a few hours... I suppose that might be asking too much though.

Ultra portable battery powered studio Lights?

The scenario is, I want some wash light, key light, and secondary light, in the deep woods, water, mud, and no power for miles.. Oh, and carry on luggage.. impossible? Haha, I'm nuts... I'm thinking battery powered led light is the obvious way to go, but I am not sure which one. Some of them...
