I cut together a quick blooper reel of a few of the moments that happened while we were shooting. There weren't as many bloopers as the first one because we shot this video in less than half the time that we took to shoot the first one. Nonetheless, here it is...

So I finally finished the video that we filmed in the garage. It was pretty funny actually -- around 20 college-aged kids goofing around and being obnoxious, and a security guard drives right by us and doesn't even stop to ask what we're doing :P

Another idea to consider... If you or someone you're shooting with look young enough, pull the "student" card. "I'm filming something for class" gets you out of at least 50% more sticky situations than "I'm just...uh...filming something. For fun." Also-- --if you live in a lenient city this...

It's called cross-cutting, and it can do wonders to add to the intensity. The opera scene in Quantum of Solace is one of my favorite scenes ever :)

Hmmm... I'll be honest, I've never understood why a 180-degree shutter supposedly looks "better." In the past, when I've shot people at night and reduced the shutter speed to get more light, the ghosting effects proved to be really distracting. Is there something I'm doing wrong in that...

Thanks for the replies, guys. I ended up calling the company that owns the particular garage that I wanted, and they were (shockingly) easy to work with and said it would be fine. As for the lighting, I'll probably go there tonight or tomorrow night and take a few test photos, but I scouted...

I got the Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 for about $60 on ebay, and it is super great! That one is highly recommended :)
