movies Movies you walked out on.

My personal policy is to endure everything I commit to. In my youth, I used to go to up to 5 theatrical movies on opening Friday (might have hit 6 one time). Never walked out. One man's trash might be my treasure. :wait: I've seen those multiple times. Some goofy ideas in REIGN OF FIRE...

Retro wave: Fear is a Virus

Nice track! The distorted and quick repeat sounds are more akin to post 2000's sounds than 80's style retro wave. Still cool, though!

movies Three O'Clock High Movie VS Movies of Today

Love that movie and the "crab scorpion" analogy. Ridiculous, but impeccably executed. Amazing shots, music, editing, characters, and tone. This movie is basically a clinic on creative filmmaking, kind of like EVIL DEAD 2 was.

Post the best Indie short film you've ever seen

Hard for me to come up with "the best," but 88:88 was excellent: BULLETS OVER BREAKFAST from around 2006, but this got the most play at my IndieMeet gatherings.

    movies The Fare

Thanks for calling attention to it. I also love time loop movies. I'll keep an eye out for it. EDGE OF TOMORROW and GROUNDHOG'S DAY are among my faves. TRIANGLE was decent, too, but I only saw it once. Great reveal, though! Others that I have seen multiple times (which is like a loop in...

Buddy Vs. Buddy - Short VFX Fight!!!

Your welcome. I appreciate how difficult that was to choreograph. I've done the cloning a few times. This was one of my first attempts, about 12 years ago. I wanted to do the 360 walking around myself. Stupid Guy

music Composers, What music are you working on?

Loop 8 seems a little bit "in your face" to be background for gameplay. I would have to see what's going on. If a bunch of creatures started coming through the walls, it's appropriate. Loop 7 is very good. I don't know why they wouldn't use that, unless this game is aimed at young kids...

    movies The Batman

I enjoyed "THE" BATMAN. ☺️ I liked BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT a lot more, but this was a slow burn cool. I'm a Matt Reeves fan, especially CLOVERFIELD and the LET THE RIGHT ONE IN remake. Interesting to hear the soundtrack, which is based around the chords for Nirvana's Something In...

    DRONE DOWN

Maxsdad, at least the bear didn't block Christian Bale's light! The screening went well. The audience had a short message for me, before the movie started:

    announcement It's Pro-Appreciation Week!

Glad to be associated with you fine people, as well as a few others. I don't talk with him that much, but I usually got a kick out of Sweetie's posts. @Sweetie I'm sure he would be aghast at the idea of me casting an American in an Aussie role, which I did!

    JULY - Sci-fi Thriller/Horror Short Film

I like the look and feel of it. It's like it could be a scene from a longer movie. The ending would have meant more if there were multiple humanoids, as he handled the one, quickly. That location was a very good setting. Nice that you put in some foley work, too.

    New Puppy w/ Pics

Crap, I opened this cute thread, thinking it was new then I came to the above post. That's awful. Really sorry. I knew chocolate was bad for them, but did not know about caffeine. Of course, caffeine is in chocolate, so that's probably why. I'll remember that. When my last dog, Ash, died...
