I didnt know that about TVMP adapters.. I used them to mount my light on a baby pin.. but i dint realize the outer diameter was a junior pin! that's pretty cool.. I have a couple of junior stands... huge things with their own baby pop up (whats that called by the way)

there are so many good quality ink drop assets available to buy I wouldn't bother with DIY.

getting a good dvd quality video is hard. The cheap software does a terrible job at trans coding etc.. I think you have premier, so what you need to do is learn about the DVD MPEG video standard, use premiere to render your DVD video\audio files directly skipping any third party trans coding...

the best part of that shot is everything but the effect.. if everything else looks that good you can get away with a less fantastic special effect.. its about mood and style..

Your much more likely to get into a festival in places near your home town. Start local, let the organizers know you are willing to sit on a panel, take questions after the screening etc. At the small local level they really want filmmaker to show up to watch the screening of their films.

If its not a scam, why withdraw the offer? I'm just one guy on this board, everyone else is buying the story, so why not run with it? Also, if you are a filmmaker, you really need what this board has to offer in abundance. Education and help are easily attained here, so ask me any legit...
