2 Many Car Accidents

Three weeks ago I was in a parking lot, I watched this car pull into a spot and hit the gas instead of the brake.


They went right into the lab corp building! It's been closed for weeks, damn that must be so expensive!!! I wonder who pays all that lost revenue.


The shocking part is how fast the building inspector showed up, he was there like 5 minutes after the cops and fire trucks!!
Today coming home from the gym, I was at a complete stop for road work and this guy rear ended me really fucking hard


Look what he did to my baby... My poor van.


He hit me SO HARD that the car in front of me needed an ambulance. Shoved me 7 feet forward into them.

I have no rear view window, I didn't see it coming at all, my neck and back are sore but it just happened today so IDK how bad it is.
Crossing my fingers that I'm not in agony tomorrow. I saw my primary and got some muscle relaxers.

Posting this to distract myself and kill time, I'm stressing until tomorrow morning when the moment of truth arrives.
We need auto-driving technology that works and get these dangerous people out from behind the wheel.

I spent 3 days waiting for the other shoe to drop - hoping whiplash doesn't set in - and it never did - I'm okay!
Man things could have gone bad, my airbag didn't even go off... malfunction light went off on the dashboard instead

Anyway just thought I'd give the update -- my body isn't broken from the accident.

The at-fault driver only had $15,000 damage coverage and there was another car involved, so IDK yet.
Might have to go on my insurance. I'm just hoping that it isn't totalled. I won't be able to replace it at bluebook value.
