screenplay Screenplay narrator

I remember a site called readthrough.com about 15 years ago. It let you assign voices to every character and narrator and then performed the movie for you. Then you could download the mp3 and listen to it. I used to drive from Montana to Washington and listen to it on the road. It was super helpful, I'm kind of surprised there's not something like that today.

Oh, I know readthrough, it's writerduete's site now. I checked for narrating function, and it says that now the read aloud function is only inside writerduete. So ultimately, the app I already use has this ability! But I'll also check direktorik's sites for finding the most natural voices.

In many respects 11 labs is currently the best in class for artificial voices. In terms of automated performance of an entire screenplay there's really nothing out there that's going to give you something usable for a final product, But you can use eleven labs voice to speech (not text to speech), Perform the roles yourself one line at a time, And get a pretty believable and usable full cast performance out of one performer. It's $20 a month or so, And you'd be looking at a considerable amount of work to get a solid performance. Right now that's pretty much the route to the best possible result if you wanted a believable screenplay read.
