I deep-fried a turkey (well, I've stood next to a turkey as it was deep-fried) before last year's Northwestern/Michigan game. It was great. Takes about 30 minutes if memory serves me correctly. Very juicy. I recommend making french fries as well to serve with the most unhealthy cheese sauce...

The Thin Blue Line is probably my favorite documentary. It uses a lot of recreations, so it's a good reference if you're looking to do some of those. As far as interviewing subjects, the Up Series would be a good reference, I think. the most recent, 49 Up, is in theatres now.

This article refers to something called "Iraqi cough syrup." It's unclear whether its is a specific kind of cough syrup, or the practice of mixing cough syrup with whiskey (and drugs). Would be worth looking into, though. http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/08/08/060808145640.rffmjw7d.html

I believe my version of Movie Magic (4.6.4) has a function that converts scripts into the PDF format. Looked through all the options and couldn't find it (couldn't find my manual either). Anyone know how to do this?
