Sounds interesting. I have a couple of questions, though: What format would you like submissions in? Is there a maximum budget requirement? (ie, what do you consider "microcinema") Also, is there a website for this festival? Thanks. - Mike.

What kind of films are you looking for? Comedies? Dramas? Horror? What length are you looking for, and what rating (or equivalent)? IE, if my film has R-rated langauge, would you want it? - Mike.

I have never heard the term microcinema before reading this post. Interesting. The most annoying term I've heard in a while though has got to be "prosumer," as in a mid level between professional and consumer. They call the XL-1 and other cameras prosumer. I hate that term for some reason. - Mike.

Agreed. Thirty minutes seems to be the cut off for most festivals. However, it's easier for them to program you the shorter you are, so make it as tight as possible. I try to keep it between 10-20 minutes depending on the story. If it's more of a "skit" or "concept" short, meaning just one...
