live action piece needed for a cartoon, regarding a water charity event. [NO PAY.]

alright, I'm having a bit of trouble with my current project. see, I'm a cartoonist, an animator, not a live action director. I can't act[or even really talk] in front of a camera, and I can't seem to find any suitable public domain footage, so if anyone needs a little job to help gain some...

    STOCK FOOTAGE OF CHARITIES

hey, a reply. lol. I'm not very good at asking people to shoot something for me, but luckly, I seemed to have found a late 50s instructional video about helping others in the public domain that'll work. I would totally wait to get something more specific if this deadline wasn't creeping so...

    STOCK FOOTAGE OF CHARITIES

I don't post a lot here, mainly because I'm more of a cartoonist...but I have a question regarding the use of stock footage. and in this case [and like the title of this little post suggests]..it's any stock footage with any sort of charity event. anything that represents charity at all. and...

    watch Beautiful Hand-Drawn Animation

hey, that was indeed very great! I'm an animator myself, although after six years, I'm just now getting into the traditional method of animating on paper [tablet and computer can't measure up]. this inspires me. fantastic job.

Touching up a short [animated] film..is this shot over-used?

thanks. again, I know there's still [as always] so much more room for improvement. but I'm ready to just work on new material. I'm just relieved I got to go back and take out those crappy shots.

Touching up a short [animated] film..is this shot over-used?

well, here's the re-cut. I still think the ending is a bit rushed, but for a short, I think it's at least better than the first cut...much, much better. now I can finally move on to something else... www.vimeo.com/kowisanimation/lightsoftheunknown

watch my take on a cartoon. [as opposed to an animated film]

you know, it was actually a bit longer before the "reality" was turned off. there was a whole "inbetween reality" claymation sequence that I cut for obvious reasons.

watch my take on a cartoon. [as opposed to an animated film]

you know, I don't think I've ever seen Monty Python....but thanks for watching, guys. I know I need quite a bit of improvement, but hey, I'm progressing.

New Interview with Indie-Talk Member Jared Kowis

hey, you've gotta use what you have...and man, animating with ms paint is a number one time consumer in my book...thanks for reading, by the way. I'm pretty modest, was surprised someone even asked me to do one of these things.

    vintage film countdown

yeah, strangely, that doesn't put me at ease. I keep thinking that something will go wrong and they'll get on me. it takes a lot to assure me it's okay in these cases.

    vintage film countdown

you know, I think I may just animate my own. I feel a bit lazy just looking at other self made leaders...I want a go at it myself.

ah, thanks. I think I found one, though. just need to verify that it's definitely usable...

    vintage film countdown

I think I found one. http://www.archive.org/details/FilmLeader I never used this site before, but it seems to be in the public domain..I'm rather paranoid about this sort of thing.
