The short film centers on a stoner that gets drugged and robbed by a traveling salesman and must fight back to reclaim his apartment.
I'm currently working on a short film and around 75% is shot, with about ~40-50% edited together without any sound effects, music, or anything added in so I've...
I've been experimenting with digital panning, zooming in and out, and things like that on my editing platform (Premiere Pro CC) and honestly it doesn't look that great to me. Any tips? Feel free to post comments on the actual film too. I posted it under the Gallery area as well, but I feel...
I loved it!
At first I wasn't liking it much due to the drawn out set up but when I hit the end the drawing out felt like it really added to the story and made the ending extremely extraordinary. I really liked it and feel like you have an enormous amount of potential. One day I believe you...
Any thoughts?

Any criticism would be helpful.
I understand that the fight shots go on for a while but, due to the time limit that was needed.
I'd also like to mention, as you can see it is a black and white short film.
If you all are interested, I made a parody of Charlie Charlie using myself, I thought some of you may enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGyiUdbr-X4 Here is a link. Please take the time to give me pointers and pros and cons! Thank you!
ME66
I bought the Sennheiser ME66 along with the power module, foam windscreen, without the XLR cords for only $150 through a seller on amazon and I love it. I bought some XLR cords including an adapter to fit my 3.5mm jack in my T2i and it's amazing. I'd suggest the ME66 if you can get it for...
Actually...
It's not my first project, I have done many others and I have over 143 youtube videos although only maybe 20-30 are actually short films, but thanks for all the information, I have always wondered what to do with the credits and for sound, I guess that means I have to buy a second...
Yes
I used a Sennheiser ME66 to capture sound but I guess I had it on the wrong setting maybe as it picked up background sound more than the actual dialogue, as for the video I filmed yesterday it has fine audio but that could be because it took place outside with no background noise.
As for...
Yeah
Yeah dude, I did everything except write the script, should also check out the Lamp which is pretty similar in production to this except I wrote it.
Thanks!
First, thanks for watching the video. Second, thanks for the "I'm looking forward to seeing more from you." comment, it made me feel good inside :$ anyway onto video, I was really just following the script as I've never had anyone else write for me before, and to be honest the beginning...
Shot in two days without a budget, tell me how it is. I've been complimented on the writing, I know I should have added some camera movement but I feel it is not bad. Any thoughts? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWpi07i7Wjc At a length of 8 minutes it is so far, my longest short film.
