I think it accomplished what you wanted it to. It kept my attention, and wherever that was in Portugal was beautiful.
It does really remind me of Twilight Zone.
We actually produced a five part web series from this story. It's available to watch on YouTube for free as a Feature Length Version. I'll link it below.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I totally didn't even see this until now, but I'll take that all into consideration when I make my next reel. For now, it's been getting me gigs so I'm pretty happy with it.
About the line being broken in that scene: You're correct. There was a reason for that in...
Hi everyone
I'm a cinamatographer and I'm trying to push my work away from typical "videography freelance" work into exclusively narrative work over the next few years.
This is my 2014 demo reel; I'm always looking to improve so I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you think I should really...
Hi everyone! This is the first episode of a web series I am producing. I've been a member here for awhile and always appreciate your feedback.
The episode is being released as is for now but we are already touching it up a bit for the release with the rest of the series. Also feedback for the...
Thanks!
I first tried using a GlideCam, but it was more trouble than it was worth in my limited shooting schedule.
Then I tried a technique that I use a lot where I wedge the legs of the tripod into my hips and use the center point to steady the shot, sort of like a make-shift steady rig...
It's hard to really call most stuff "experimental" these days, but that was exactly what this was.
Originally I was just filming, experimenting with some angles I hadn't tried before and testing some ways of doing driving shots. I never planned on using the footage for something, but opened it...
This is a short film project I did for my film school. The assignment is to recreate a dialogue and an action scene from a movie. It's kind of like covering a song for musicians I guess.
I think it turned out alright considering I was going to school and working full time while trying to make...
The spec is on the right side of his suit jacket in this shot. It stays the same place through all shots in this sequence.
Here's a screenshot. I may be able to do it that after effects way if I can get back into somewhere with after effects before my deadline. Any other knowledge on this...
I am just finishing up the primary edit for a shot film I've shot over the last few months. After I brought it into the editor I realized a few pixel size spec of dust that must have been on the sensor the whole time. I've since cleaned my sensor, but that still doesn't help my hours of footage...
I have started my 4th big rewrite of the script. There a couple of characters that I'm going to flesh out a bit more, and I am going to try to get rid of as much dialogue as possible (or condense it if it would make more sense in certain places)
It will be interested to see the difference...
I read a couple of these responses. Thank you so far, I'll finish reading this later. I really appreciate all the advice from all the different sources.
Just a few notes. The guy that reviewed it is a novelist, not a screenwriter. That probably makes a big difference. He isn't wildly...
We all know one of the first things your told as a scriptwriter is SHOW instead of TELL whenever possible.
I thought I was doing a pretty good job of this in a my first feature script I've been writing, but then I got my first response and that was the biggest flaw.
It's frustrating me to no...
Really great. Slow motion always sells well in music videos. I hate it when I ask for criticism and all I get is compliments, but I really don't have anything to point out.
